Scope and Topics
The Faculty of Juridical and Administrative Sciences is pleased to invite you to the 19th edition of the Agora International Law Conference on „ Prospects and Challenges of 21st Century Law”. The venue will be the University’s site, no. 8 Piaţa Tineretului Street, Oradea, Romania, 21-22 November 2025.
For the 19th edition AILC 2025, there are invited to participate local and foreign professors, specialists and researchers concerned with disciplinary and inter-disciplinary studies.
In the conference program will be able to enrol research teams, teams of specialists from Romania and abroad with online interventions. For this purpose, the organizers will provide appropriate technical equipment and conduct discussions via video conference.
Parallel Sessions:
Session I: The impact of legislative changes in judicial practice
Session II: The role of interdisciplinarity in legal sciences
Session III: The dynamics of crime in contemporary society
Session IV: Enhancing and Monitoring Democracy in Romania as a EU Member State
During Session IV, there will be organised 3 roundtables debates where there are mainly invited papers from Bachelor, Master or Doctoral Students, but also from researchers, pre-university teachers, public or civil servants, non-governmental representatives, focused, but not limited to the thematic of:
Roundtable 1: Contributions of civil society regarding the growth and consolidation of democracy
Rondtable 2: The role of local and national authorities in the implementation and running of democratic procedures
Roundtable 3: The functioning of the European Union, as a guarantor and promoter of democracy
Paper publication
Selected papers will be published in the “Juridical Sciences”, “Administrative Sciences” or “Master Students” sections of Agora International Journal of Juridical Sciences (AIJJS), ISSN 1843-570X, E-ISSN: 2067-7677, indexed in international databases (HeinOnline, vLex International Law, High Court of Delhi, Crossref, EBSCO, Stanford Libraries, Worldcat).
There are no fees for participation at the Conference program or for the paper publication in the Conference journal.
